Dude, you just KNOW those two characters took some time out of their busy sixties space schedules to do a little melding together — at least once.
It’s like I always say: being hell-bent machismo is every bit as homoerotic as being hell-bent effeminate. Which is exactly why those Jackass guys are getting so much press on the subject. (Not that you could really call Star Trek hell-bent machismo … but I bet if you asked William Shatner whether he was macho or not, he’d say he was nothing but. “Of. Course I. Am. A macho. Man.”)
