Jasper Johns’ Flag with 1000% white area added to the sides of the image and then put through Content-Aware Fill.
Johns being my favorite contemporary painter/mixed-media artist I can’t help but love this reinterpretation. I also liked his take on Mondriaan, which you can see along with a few others here.
